Question: “I press play button and nothing happens? What is the Photoshop action not working?”
Answer: In most cases when nothing happens after you press play button, you have forgotten to select the action from the actionset. To select an action from the actionset click the small triangle next to the actionset name to expand it. Select an action by clicking on it and click play button again. You must have an image open and generally it must be “flat” (not layered) for the actions to work properly.
Actions are stored in “Action Sets” that can include up to 100 different actions, remember to expand the action set by clicking a small triangle next to it to expose the individual actions.
